After attending New York University, Tisch School of the Arts, I pursued an acting career that spanned 15 years. Following a brief stint in the world of Public Relations, I began producing events in NYC which led me to where I currently am - Scholastic, the global children’s publishing, education and media company, where I have worked for 15 years as a producer. I am currently the VP of Corporate Productions & Creative Services and the Retail Store. Some of the highlights of my time at Scholastic thus far include two versions of Harry Potter Place – a live interactive installation on Mercer Street in NYC for the launches of Book 6 and 7, The Open Book Tour, author, J.K. Rowling’s final Tour (Los Angeles, New Orleans & Carnegie Hall in New York City) and An Evening with Harry Carrie & Garp with J.K. Rowling, Stephen King and John Irving at Radio City Music Hall. I received a 2003 Emmy Award for a video I conceived and produced for The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, the longest running arts recognition program for teenagers in the country. I live in New York City.
