What is the principle of using the rain gauge?

The rainwater collected by the water inlet passes through the upper cylinder (funnel) and is injected into the metering tipping hopper. It is a mechanical bistable structure, when one compartment receives water, the other compartment is in a waiting state. When the volume of all rainwater reaches a predetermined value of 0.2 (0.5) mm, it will overturn itself due to the action of gravity and be in a waiting state, while the other compartment is in a working state of receiving water. When its water intake reaches a predetermined value, it will overturn itself and be in a waiting state. Magnetic steel is installed on the side wall of the tipping bucket, which scans from the side of the dry reed when the tipping bucket is overturned to make the dry reed switch on and off. That is, every time the bucket is overturned, the dry reed switch is turned on to send out a switch signal (pulse signal).

Precautions for the use of rain gauge

1. The length of the sensor line will affect the output signal of the product. Do not arbitrarily change the components or wires that have been soldered when the product leaves the factory;

2. The sensor should be checked regularly to remove dust, mud sand, leaves and insects, so as not to block the water flow channel of the upper cylinder (funnel). aqueous solution

3. During the freezing period in winter, the instrument should be stopped and it can be taken back indoors;
