Journalist in Delhi, India
I am an editor, content, business solutions and product manager living in New Delhi. I am a 2017 Fellow at the Tow-Knight Center for Entrepreneurial Journalism in New York. My two big interests are entrepreneurial journalism and aviation. I am focussed on creating successful journalism products and finding innovative business solutions for media companies.
I have been a journalist for the past 17 years, the last 11 of which I have spent with The Economic Times, New Delhi. Previously, I worked with India's leading newspapers such as The Hindustan Times, The Times of India and The Indian Express.
At ET, India's biggest business daily, I am a senior editor with the features pages. Until a year ago, I was the deputy editor of ET Magazine, the paper's weekly Sunday product.
I write stories that I believe are worth telling, often missed in the cacophony of today's media. I write about a range of subjects from aviation to politics. My stories are known for their in-depth analyses and probing detail.
I live with my wife, Purnima Sharma, the co-founder of the graphic design firm VisualBest, and my daughter, Ira.
