CBD (Cannabidiol) is one of about 125 cannabinoids found in the Cannabis family of plants. The cannabis family includes marijuana and hemp. The primary difference between marijuana and hemp is the amount of THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) found in the plant. THC is the psychoactive component in marijuana.
