I'm a Leipzig based social scientific researcher specialized in qualitaive methods. Currently I'm working on my PhD thesis within the Research Training Group CrossWorlds at University of Technology Chemnitz. Generally said, I'm interested to find out, what makes 'social technology' social. Therefore I examine the construction of social robots. [Yeah, robots!]

Beside my merely sociological interest for technology and culture I run an independent label with friends. To combine my academic work and my practical work in the field of DIY culture is one big goal for the future.
