I serve as bishop of the Florida Area of the United Methodist Church. My last two books are Pray for Me: The Power in Praying for Others (Upper Room) and Holy Spirit and Community: Converge Bible Study (Abingdon).

I am especially engaged presently in conversations around renewing the church, unifying the church and extending our mission to those outside our walls.
