went to Notre Dam grammer school, Saint Ignatius High School, the catholic college in SF (forgot name!), then to Georgetown for Law School. Married Patricia Raffanti with whom I had the most beautiful daughter, Jennifer, who was followed by Brennan Newsom Jr., and Eric. When I married my second wife, Franza Giffen, I again had the most beautiful child, William, followed by another daugher, Chloe. I was a busy man, tried to make the world better in big ways, and in little ways. I love my children to the moon and back and did my best to be a good father. A very interesting ride, for sure, one that I hope was the right way. They are my greatest accomplishment.
I practiced law, among other things, but my passion was music. I have quite the ecclictic collection of record albums - from obscure Russian guitarists, to the Greatful Dead and Kris Kristofferson. Music is secondary only to children. I am blessed with many nieces and nephews and two beautiful grandchildren, Grace and Owen.
I was too vibrant to die so young (this according to my daughter who is writing this). I had many things yet to do, grandchildren to play with, books to read, people to help, but alas, it wasn't up to me.
I LOVE YOU DADDY-IO!!! I MISS YOU, I FEEL YOU ON MY SHOULDER AS MY GUARDIAN ANGEL!!! WE ALL MISS YOU. DARN IT! WE ALL LOVE YOU...
