Björn Adins

Björn Adins is a lawyer at the bars of Kortrijk and Brussels. In the past years Björn Adins has been alternately working as a bar lawyer and as an in-house lawyer. Besides his ongoing independent law practice as a generalist lawyer, he has done several, succesful short-term legal interim projects in large companies like the Belgacom Group, Telindus, Dexia Bank, Barco and Cisco Systems (Scientific Atlanta). On the 1st of September 2010, he also joined the law firm time.lex in Brussels, as a senior associate lawyer. In June 2011 Björn became an affiliated researcher at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Law and IT ( ICRI - University of.Leuven ) and contributes to the development of the Belgian Cybercrime Centre of Excellence for training, research and education ( B-CCENTRE ). His extensive expertise includes commercial law, company law, tax law and ICT-law (e-banking, e-money, e-business, e-commerce and Internet law, online debt recovery, ICT contracts (in relation to hardware, software, services, licenses and distribution), intellectual property rights), sports law, litigation, legal support and contract drafting in Dutch, French or English.

In his little spare time, Björn Adins became in 2012 President of the Young Business Club hosted by a professional football team in Belgium (SV Zulte Waregem).
