Based in New York City, Bjorn Pettersen holds a managerial position with the global consulting enterprise Accenture, PLC. He previously served as managing partner at LaSalle-Jackson Partners, where he provided high-end strategic consulting services to managerial boards and executive leaders. In 2011, Bjorn Pettersen accepted responsibilities as a risk and compliance service area leader with IBM Corporation’s Global Business Services division. With an emphasis on assisting financial services clients, he developed a number of solutions spanning liquidity and solvency, Basel III, Dodd-Frank, and credit risk reporting functions.
From 2006 to 2011, Mr. Pettersen was a partner, vice president, and risk management practice leader with Charles River Associates (CRA). He was brought onto the CRA team to diversify the firm’s focus beyond litigation support into the value-based risk management consulting sphere. Mr. Pettersen developed strong relationships with Fortune 100 C-level executives while sourcing and implementing projects spanning 30 corporate clients. Following CRA’s acquisition of Marako, Bjorn Pettersen guided the integration of his firm’s risk capacities into Marako’s existing risk practice.
