Blain Watters

Blain Watters has written short films, graphic novels, plays and sketch comedy. His short film BearHug, directed by J Adam Brown and featuring Sarah Gadon, premiered in Europe at the Milan International Film Festival and in North America at the New York International Film Fest.

He has been a writer for the online sketch troupe, The Fauxhemians, and is a host of Rewatchability: the pop-culture nostalgia podcast.

After finishing his studies at the Canadian Film Centre in the Bell Media Television Writer's Program he was chosen for the Shaw Media Writer's Apprenticeship Program, travelling to Banff for the World Media Festival and landing an internship in the Lost Girl writer's room. He then garnered a job working on the show as a Writer's Assistant.

Blain's currently writing on the Rogers and Netflix original series "Between", co-writing three hour long episodes with the show's creator Michael McGowan.
