Hey, I’m Blain. I’m a Public Servant living in Melbourne. I am a fan of politics, eco, and reading. I’m also interested in technology and innovation.

I have a particular interest regarding the notion of societal change at a macro level in response to the challenges, both economic and environmental, posed by the 21st century. When not delving into books concerned with this rather momentous and meaty topic, I can often be found sitting in a rather comfy IKEA chair catching up on history or science-fiction.

I'm a bit of a gamer (blame Age of Empires), but like most of the world I am still waiting in vain to get my hands on a PS5.
