I always struggle with writing my own bio. One of the main reasons is I am one of those people that if you ask me what time it is I will tell you how to build a watch! I love statistics and quotes and what my wife calls useless trivia. More than anything though, I love Jesus and subsequently his church. I have spent more than 30 years serving the church in some capacity or the other and I love it. I dream about being a part of a thriving church that is impacting and influencing culture in a positive way. My best days are the ones in which I see God’s people working together as the body, using their gifts to make God’s name famous!

The love of my life (next to Jesus) is my beautiful wife Julie. Our life together has been an awesome adventure. We live in such a way that we can’t wait to see what each day is going to hold.

Julie and I are very proud of our children Candace, and her husband John, and BJ, and his wife Jaime. We take great delight in our grandchildren Cami, Alonna, my buddy Malachi, Blaine III, Moses and our newest addition, Natalie.

Hobbies: Travel, shows, nice restaurants and anything that gets me outside (hunting, fishing, golf, horses and motorcycles).

Books: The Divine Conspiracy, The Power of a Whisper, The Blue Parakeet, Courageous Leadership, anything by Louie L’Amour.

Odd Fact: One of my Great, great… uncles, Daniel Fairclough, was one of the translators of the King James Bible.
