Blain Skinner is a sports and entertainment industry veteran with more than four decades of experience building strategic partnerships, generating revenue, and connecting brands with passionate audiences.

Over a distinguished 38-season career with the Los Angeles Lakers, Skinner rose to the role of Executive Director, Corporate Partnerships & Client Management before retiring in November 2019. He began his career in 1982 with California Sports, Inc., the parent company of the Lakers, The Forum, Kings, Strings, Lazers, and other sports and entertainment properties. Throughout his tenure, he played a key role in sponsorship sales, partner development, client management, and revenue generation, while building an extensive network across the sports, entertainment, and business communities.

Today, as Founder and Principal of Blain Skinner Consulting (BSC), he leverages more than 40 years of industry experience to help organizations accelerate growth through meaningful business relationships and strategic partnerships.

He currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the Orange County Sports Commission and serves on the boards of the Westcoast Sports Associates and the Orange County Youth Sports Foundation. He also serves on the Advisory Board of Dunk MS, supporting efforts to fund research and advance the search for a cure for multiple sclerosis.

Skinner earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California in 1982.
