Blain Skinner just completed his 34th season with the Los Angeles Lakers. He is the team's Executive Director of Corporate Partnerships. He joined California Sports, Inc., the parent company that owned The Forum (a.k.a. the Great Western Forum), the Lakers, Kings, Strings, a variety of other sports and entertainment properties in 1982. In his current position, Skinner is responsible for sponsorship sales that include broadcast, signage, new media, print, merchandising, promotional, public and community relations elements. He is a charter member of Westcoast Sports Associates (WSA); an organization dedicated to enhancing the sporting experience for economically disadvantaged youths and was also a Reserve Deputy Sheriff in Orange County’s Professional Services Program. Skinner received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern California in 1982.
