Blake Wilson is an established presence in the Jacksonville, Florida community who leads Monarch Capital and seeks out growth opportunities. Taking an active ownership role in firms built around technology, Blake Wilson and his Jacksonville partners drive long-term value in portfolio holdings.

Collectively, Monarch Capital and its partners represent one of the largest investors in the firm’s it partners with, and have a significant personal stake in achieving sustained results. With 10-15 investments making up the portfolio, an emphasis for Mr. Wilson is on advising entities that have governance or structure that is beyond that traditionally considered by venture capital and private equity funds. The firm’s global relationship network provides an invaluable sourcing mechanism and proprietary approaches and often involve Monarch taking a board role with invested firms.

Blake Wilson also founded The McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation in 2010, and has led the nonprofit as CEO since its inception. The education-focused group works to actively honor the memory of his daughter, who emphasized a spirit of giving and teaching. With the foundation having invested approximately $4 million in young people to date, one focus is on boys and girls clubs that offer an environment that encourages at-risk youth to thrive and make their best academic effort.
