Blake Seymour

Hello, I’m Blake. I’m a student living in Sammamish, Washington. I enjoy hiking, playing soccer and hanging with my friends.

Over the last nine months in journalism I tended to mainly focus on events, mostly soccer. I think people who know me wouldn't be surprised of this as I'm always watching a game or updating my fantasy team.

Overall I'd say my biggest takeaway from Journalism class is how much my communication skills have improved from the countless interviews. At the beginning of the year I struggled a lot with the interviews because I was reluctant to talk about stuff I didn't have written down as I didn't want to mess up the flow of the interview.
