Blessing Ingyape

Blessing Ingyape is an internationally certified special needs educator with training in Orton-Gillingham (OG). She is a dyslexia coach, the founder of Dyslexia Help Africa, Executive Director at Dyslexia Help Learning Academy, co-founder of Dyslexia Project Africa, and CEO of ForgeX Academy.
Blessing holds certifications from the C.A.D.E.T Academy, covering the 13 disabilities outlined in the IDEA (Individuals with Disabilities Education Act), as well a dyslexia training certificate from Nessy Learning, whose multi-media learning tools are used in 192 countries for children with learning challenges.
Her passion is supporting children with specific learning difficulties. Over the years, she has trained over 600 teachers, worked with families, and consulted with schools to help children overcome learning challenges. Through Dyslexia Project Africa, her work spans 5 African countries: Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, and Cameroon, reaching over 28,000 children with dyslexia awareness programs, seminars, and practical interventions. She is also the author of “Dyslexia Unveiled,” a children's book designed to create awareness and understanding of dyslexia from a young age.
Blessing's dedication has earned her international recognition, including Dyslexia Teacher of the Year 2021 by Dyslexia Trust–Nessy UK, a nominee of the prestigious Future Awards Africa, and recognition by Donors for Africa as one of the Top 50 African Women in Development. She was also named among the Top 50 Neurodiversity Evangelists to Follow Globally by Neurodiversity World in 2023.
She is a member of I-Inclusion, a global network of women advocating for inclusion and child rights across Asia, Africa, Europe, and America, providing free training and consultation for children with neurodiversity and their families. Blessing is also a scholarship beneficiary of the LDA (Learning Disability Association of America) 55th Annual Conference.
Her mantra is simple: "There are no limits; every child can learn." Through her leadership at Dyslexia Project Africa and ForgeX Academy, she continues to empower children, educators, and families across Africa, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.
