Blessing Towoju

My name is Blessing Towoju, and I am a technology-driven learner and builder with a strong passion for software engineering, artificial intelligence, and modern language technologies. I hold a Master’s degree from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), where my journey into advanced computing truly accelerated.

My technical foundation is rooted in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, MVC, and building clean, scalable web applications. I enjoy solving complex problems, improving system architecture, and writing code that is structured, maintainable, and efficient.

My interest in NLP and AI grew deeper when I joined the Nigeria AI Lab at UNILAG, where I was exposed to cutting-edge research and practical applications of machine learning. That experience inspired me to move beyond traditional software development into intelligent systems and language technologies.

I am currently working on building a foundational AI model for language translation, with a focus on creating tools that enable more accurate, accessible, and culturally aligned multilingual communication especially for African languages that are often underrepresented in global NLP research.

I am driven by curiosity, innovation, and the desire to build technology that empowers people, simplifies complex tasks, and opens access to information across languages and cultures.
