Bleu Waters

Baltimore, Maryland

Everyone is born with a story. However, few actually take an opportunity to read Their story out loud, raw and unapologetic. Bleu Waters tells stories with his unique perspective on life. He uses his music as a medium to express the raw truth about Living & Loving.

Baltimore native, Bleu Waters, learned at an early age the bitter reality about life. While most youth played outside, Bleu found solace in writing poetry and listening to old Motown records. Eventually, his interest in music would place him in The Cab Calloway Music Careers Academy at Frederick Douglass Senior High School. It was during this time, Bleu began to discover himself as himself. Along with living the secret about his lifestyle, he harbored another secret: his passion to sing and write songs. As a gay, Black male raised on the east-side Baltimore, Bleu endured various trials and tribulations that greatly impacted the artist he has become. He explains, " Music became an escape for me growing up. I felt like my life was not my choice. Music was my fairy tales. I would often , pray, wish, and/ or hope for my life to be like many of those songs. Oddly, enough I still believe in happily ever afters, unfortunate, my stories (songs) are based on reality.

Bleu has had the privilege of performing with other talented individuals, singing for various programs in Baltimore and abroad. Bleu's new adventure has placed in him on a road of self discovery and evolution. For the first time, Bleu is actually revealing himself. As he embarks on this journey, he has invited you to assist with this journey of self acceptance, self discovery, and self love. Enjoy! Positive feedback is welcomed!!!
