Loretta Dian Phipps

Hi. I'm an artist living in Western North Carolina. I call it Paradise. Having lived in many places I view this place the best ever. My home is at 3700 ft on a mountain & I have spectacular panoramic view from all angles.. I'm married, for many years to the same person. I have no natural children but I consider my little female Scottie dog named Maggie to be my kid in a dog suit. I grew up in Texas & I'll always be a Texan but my heart & soul now reside in NC. Having been a skiier I learned to love the mountains & prefer these locations over any seashore or lake community.

Currently I'm President of the Western Carolina Chapter of the American Sewing Guild. I love to sew, felt, bead, design, read my Kindle, shop on Amazon & create wonderful wearables & accessories. I've loved to travel & have been to many different parts of the world. Now I only travel for pleasure & most of the time driving the car is preferred to flying these days.
