Barnes, Lindsey, and Morrison Family Foundation for Faith and Service, a family-led private operating foundation rooted in faith, compassion, and a commitment to serving others. Our mission is simple but powerful: to identify the most pressing needs in our communities and respond with programs that restore hope, provide relief, and empower families.
Mission Statement
The Barnes, Lindsey, and Morrison Family Foundation for Faith and Service exist to honor God through compassionate action and faithful service. Rooted in the Gospel call to serve “the least of these,” we cut through red tape and meet people where they are, in their hunger, struggle, and need. We seek to be a field hospital for the soul and society, a place of refuge and renewal for those facing hardship. Through faith, education, housing, health, food relief, and spiritual outreach, we restore dignity, rebuild lives, and reflect God’s love in tangible ways.
Vision Statement
We envision a world where compassion meets action, where the work of faith is lived out in service to others. TheBarnes, Lindsey, and Morrison Family Foundation for Faith and Serviceexists to be a field hospital for the hurting, meeting people where they are and ministering to their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
Our vision is guided by the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35 36: For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me,
I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me,
I was in prison and you came to me.
Therefore, the work of our foundation is to:
- Feed the hungry and give drink to the thirsty.
- Welcome the stranger with open arms and renewed hope.
- Clothe the naked with dignity and compassion.
- Visit the sick and provide care, comfort, and healing.
- Take care of the prisoner and support the journey of restoration and reentry.
Through these acts of mercy, we honor God by turning faith into action, serving “the least of these” with love, humility, and purpose.
Why We Exist
The Barnes, Lindsey, and Morrison Family Foundation for Faith and Service exist to answer Christ’s call in Matthew 25 — “I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger, and you welcomed me.”
We believe faith must take form in action. Our purpose is to be a field hospital for people in need, meeting them where they are and offering practical help, spiritual encouragement, and lasting hope.
We serve those who hunger, thirst, struggle, and seek restoration. Through compassion, community care, and faith-driven service, we work so that no one is left unseen, uncared for, or unloved.
Why We Need Your Help
We are building this foundation from the ground up, powered by faith, family, and the generosity of those who believe that love should be lived, not just spoken.
Your support will help us launch programs that:
- Feed and clothes for struggling families.
- Welcome and house those displaced or without shelter.
- Visit and care for the sick and those in prison.
- Provide recovery and reentry support through St. Dismas House and St. Monica Recovery Home.
Every dollar helps us transform faith into tangible compassion. Together, we can become the hands and feet of Christ in our communities.
