When my 86 year old father belts out an old large band basic tune like Tommy Dorsey's, "I'll Be Seeing You," his vocal instrument still sends a chill down the spine. And when my son pulls from his again pack a well worn sketch pad, casually showing me his most up-to-date pencil and ink drawing the same feeling occurs. I'm in awe of their talent and artistry. Often, I have wondered why I did not receive that particular resourceful gene.
Too, I'm blessed with students and consumers that paint museum quality masterpieces, write lifetime shifting books, make profound documentary movies, and dance like angels. Creativeness such given that the like is equally tangible and provoking.
