Vacation rentals are a growing market across the country. One of the few we have right now, so it’s worth exploring the benefits of using them. This article is going to discuss the benefits of using vacation rentals over hotel rooms for your next holiday.

There are several benefits vacation rentals have over hotel rooms and we are going to explore each one in turn. They include:

· Cost

· Space

· Freedom

· Variety

· Flexibility

We have traditionally used hotels as the base of operations for any vacation, but the idea that we can have more for less is a compelling one indeed. While it’s difficult to quantify exactly due to the variety of accommodation available, it’s safe to say that the average vacation rental is over 20 percent cheaper than a comparable hotel room.

When staying in a hotel, you are charged a premium for the extras. This is where the hotel makes its money, so they maximize it whenever possible. That can include parking, minibar, meals, drinks, extras like cots, baby changing and adjoining rooms. For a family, a hotel stay can be very expensive indeed.

The average vacation rental doesn’t charge for any of those. You bring your own food and drink, your own linens and anything else you need. You don’t have to pay an extortionate price for a Coke, or pay over the odds for a tasteless meal, it’s all here for you.
