Sylvia Bly

Fraser, MI

I have been in the administrative field off and on for over 20 years. During a good portion of that time, I worked as a library assistant in a law firm. Ever since, I have been very interested in all aspects of information and research, whether it had anything to do with a client or a personal matter. I always got a thrill when I was able to help by finding exactly what was needed. As part of my professional goals, I hope to further this interest by obtaining my degree with possible concentrations in either Law, Public, or School Libraries. I wish to show the public that there is so much more to a library than simply books. There is a great deal of work involved with all types of media, and I would like to learn how and why it is done.
