I live in beautiful Virginia Beach with my daughter and granddaughter -- just minutes from the oceanfront. My son and his family live in nearby Northern Virginia, so I see my three grandchildren as often as I can.

I teach writing courses online for UMUC and do audio transcribing at home. My hobbies and passions include family history, photography and scrapbooking, knitting and crocheting, reading and writing, and cooking. I've traveled to the Far East and throughout most of America and had the good fortune to live in Bermuda for a glorious honeymoon of three years. My roots are in New England and New York, however, and my loves are simple: family, home, music, art.
