I'm Benjamin McInnes but I go by Ben. The picture that i included is from my trip to Yosemite National Park. The scenery is an open field near the horseshoe falls. The trip was probably one of my favorite experiences. The reason it was so memorable is probably because I am a horticulture major and really enjoy nature and the plants that are found in it. Even though the deciduous trees had yet to grow new foliage, the mix of them with the conifers created a beautiful landscape. Besides the plant life, the mountains, waterfalls, and streams all added to the wonder of the forest. The visit to Yosemite gave me a greater appreciation for nature, and it showed me the kind of beauty that I could help to create as a horticulturist.
