Brett McPeak

Brett moved to Jackson Hole in 1993 for a job at the Jackson Hole News & Guide. Two years later, he took a position with a real estate firm in the valley that ultimately evolved into a joint marketing and information technology role for the firm and its offices around the region. In 2003 following the company’s acquisition by a national franchise, he helped in the day-to-day management of the organization and also in the merger and acquisition of franchise offices in Sun Valley, Idaho, and Santa Fe, NM. In 2006, Brett accepted the broker position with another development and supervised a team of licensees who primarily focused on real estate and membership sales in its private golf course community. Today, he is the Responsible Broker/Owner for RE/MAX Obsidian Real Estate in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. After three terms on the Teton Board of Realtors (TBOR) MLS Board, Brett was elected 2009 President of the Teton Board of Realtors. He was also awarded the 2008 TBOR Realtor of the Year and serves as the President for the Board of the Curran-Seeley Foundation. He also is the 2010 Wyoming Association of Realtors Practioner Standarsds Chairman. Brett received a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from Lehigh University in 1993. He and his wife, Whitney, live south of Jackson with their son, Liam, and their two dogs.
