I've experienced so many moments of incredible connection with students as they learn about life, themselves, and how to thrive in life. Not every moment has been positively transformative over the past 15 years that I have been teaching and leading in schools-- in fact, there are plenty of challenging experiences along the way that have shaped the person I am today. These moments of truth, of realization that arise during discussions with students, families, and community members are too valuable to keep to myself. I am a teacher, but I am also blessed to get to be a philosopher, sociologist, anthropologist, psychologist, and most of all life long learner.
