Brenda Rosete

Inspired by the the motto “Create the change you want to see in the world” I established interest on developing art projects which reinforces the relationship between people and their communities so they can take the action about their surroundings, therefore I studied a Masters in Communication Design at the Glasgow School of Art, focusing my project on depicting place identity and cultural heritage through a visual narrative; strengthening my research methods and practice in planning a project within contemporary contexts with visual communication processes.

I’ve always been a self-starter, for 2 years I assisted on different visual arts workshops, teaching painting and photography to children, helping them to enhance their learning experience through visual expressions. I am a photography enthusiast, with 5 years of expertise in Communication Design, I also have proven skills in digital communication and marketing. I’ve been involved in social activities as well, supporting and working along with different communities, volunteering for an NGO dedicated to build houses to the poorest families, this helped me to grow consciousness on the promotion of community development in slums, through a process of community strengthening that promotes the organization and participation of thousands of families.
