Badri Murali

I'm a student journalist at Ryerson University. I was born in India, but I lived in the United Arab Emirates for eight years. In 2003, my family and I moved to Canada, and ever since, have been proud to call Mississauga our home. It is crucial to look at a story from all angles; growing up with a blend of Indian and Canadian values has provided me with the chance to observe a situation from both a conservative, as well as a liberal set of eyes. Being fluent in Tamil and French has truly helped me in a diverse society like Canada. Outside of my academics, I love the world of food; while cooking may not be my forte, eating certainly is (don't let my skinny figure fool you). Conversation comes easily to me, and I eagerly await the next opportunity with an open mind.
