Benson Mutuku is a development and humanitarian professional with over 13 years of experience working with the INGOs, NGOs, Private sector, and Government institutions. Benson has extensive experience in programmatic design, implementation, and technical advisory of gender programs in Agriculture, Food Security and Nutrition, Financial Inclusion & Economic empowerment, Policy and Advocacy, Education, and Health. Benson has spearheaded and provided technical expertise in multi-country projects in Kenya, Rwanda, Uganda, Djibouti, Tanzania, Mozambique, Ethiopia, Burundi, Zambia, Somalia, Ghana, Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, and Uganda. He brings to this role his experience working with multi-stakeholders in the agriculture sector notably Government and the private sector. Benson has worked on various policy-related initiatives and research activities. He is experienced in monitoring and evaluation hence providing oversight for a program’s planning, evaluation, knowledge management, and monitoring. Benson is a seasoned trainer both at the community level as well as at the policy level, having engaged in capacity building processes across the country and beyond. Benson has basic French-speaking skills. Benson is passionate about gender transformation at the local, national, regional, and other spheres of influence.
