Hi, my name is BIlly Nadeau and I am a junior marketing major at the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

Traveling to different parts of the world is my passion and it is something I would like to continue to do throughout my life. This past semester I studied abroad in London and had the opportunity to travel all over Europe. I was exposed to many different languages and cultures that gave me insight into what the rest of the world has to offer. I have also been to many different places in the Caribbean and last summer I roadtripped from Boston to Minnesota and back.

Marketing requires you to know your audience and the people you are trying to get in contact with. While I was in London, I worked as a marketing intern for a table tennis company and had to market to a wide range of people. From children to college students to business executives, our marketing strategy had to be tailored to our target market. There were also cultural differences that I had to take into account when interacting with European market that were much different than how things are done here in the US. Meeting people all over the world has helped me understand the variety of opinions and views of the many different people across the world.
