Bo Carrington

I am a student of life. While my career has led me to help others grow and learn, life has also taught me that it's best lessons can be found in other people's experiences and learning, so I grow and learn through helping others as well. If you seek to get the most out of the talents you have been given, or seek to get the best out of those you are charged and priviledged to lead, then shoot me a note. My ultimate goal in life is to help others achieve their maximum and when someone does I get one more step closer to my own. Others include first and foremost my children and grandchildren, but I'll always allow room for friends, clients or anyone that I may come across on my journey because while they may not be a friend now, they will be soon!

Professionally I am a coach and consultant working with companies and organizations of all sizes. I don't for a second consider myself "the" expert or the be all to end all, I simply consider myself well placed in that I rarely teach people stuff they don't know. My goal is to help folks see what's already inside them by helping them change how they view themselves and the world around them. Most of my clients simply want to get the best from themselves, their employees and their teams. I believe that most employees want to give their best so I consider it my job to help my clients remove the barriers that prevent their employees and teams from giving their best.

As I mentioned above, I am an eternal learner. While I have read tons of business and psychology books I tend to not ascribe to any single, one theory for doing the work I do. I see the world of knowledge (books) as tools available to help me help others and use them in that way. I learned early on that if you choose to use only a hammer as your tool you become an expert with the hammer, but unless everything you encounter is a nail, your effectiveness is diminshed and if your effectiveness is diminished, so are your chances at achieving your ultimate success.
