Bob Elliott

Bob specialises in intellectual property, IT and e-commerce law and is part of our corporate and commercial team. He has more than 25 years experience in this field, having worked for large City of London law firms for 13 years, before returning to the North East in the 1990's.

His practice concentrates on assisting business clients with the development, exploitation and protection of their intellectual property, with particular emphasis upon the legal needs of innovative design led, technology-driven and creative individuals and businesses throughout the North of England, and further afield. He handles disputes work, and non-contentious work such as contract documentation relating to exploitation, and IP protection generally.

Away from the office, Bob lives in a village near Hexham, Northumberland, with his wife and two daughters, and when not acting as a taxi driver at weekends, enjoys cycling, cooking and trying to master the Northumbrian Pipes (not necessarily all at the same time!)
