Bob Newman

Bob Newman grew up in the agricultural heart land of New South Wales, beautiful Wagga Wagga straddling the Murrumbidgee River. Like much of the sport mad population in a city prone to the “Wagga Effect,” Bob developed a passion for sports and recreational facilities. Today he is an avid fan of hitting the Hawkesbury and Shoalhaven River with his kayak to escape the busy pace of life at Carasel Towbars. Bob’s love for the water set him on track to where he is today. A long time public servant, he decided it was truly time for a sea change, opening his own business in NSW’s South Coast selling boats, trailers and an all-sort of marine chandlery. Today Bob is the front of house and manager at Carasel Towbar’s Pendel Hill store. A beacon of knowledge, he’s experience and own interest in the field of recreational adventure mean he’s well-equipped to give you all the information you need, even when you don’t realise you need it.
