Rob Ireson
Rob Ireson is an artist/human, his work is an attempt to create spaces where people can temporarily exist outside of themselves, this create possibility. His work draws inspiration from natural systems, the edge between two eco-systems being the most productive part, he positions his work on that edge; The edge between humour and seriousness, the edge between the machine and the organic, the edge between individual and community. Previous work has taken the form of sculpture, bike machines, collaborative workshops, puppetry and performance. Residing from the Black Country U.K. he’s been living and working in Cork for the last 10 years and is currently studying the Art in Public Ma in Belfast, but he considers the World his home.
