Bob James

I grew up in Oak Park, Illinois: home of Frank Lloyd Wright, Ernest Hemingway, but more importantly, my father. At the age of 18 I thought I was too smart for home and went to college at TCU. At TCU I encountered Jesus Christ and turned to Him as my Savior. After graduating from TCU I married the beautiful Lucy James who still loves me almost as much as Iove her. We have 3 great kids and one granddaughter who is worthy of far more spoiling than we can give. The most important thing in my life, though, is my relationship to Jesus Christ. He has delivered me from many troubles - mostly of my own making - and He continues to watch over and bless me. He continues to lead me in new paths of ministry. I am especially concerned that I, as an individual, take part in caring for the poor - leading them to knowledge of Jesus Christ and helping to bring them out of poverty.
