Bob Bateson
Buffalo New York United States
A graduate of Cortland State University. I hold a BS in Physical Education with a teaching certificate as well as a concentration in athletic training and sports medicine. I'm a member of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). In recognition of my work with both professional and amateur athletes along with my contributions to the fitness field and commitment to ongoing education, the NSCA has upgraded my certification to a Registered Strength and Conditioning Coach Emeritus (RSCC *E)- the highest level that they offer. I have also been named as one of Business First’s Health Care 50, which recognizes me as one of the top 50 extraordinary professionals in the medical field in Western new York. In 1988 I founded Body Blocks Fitness to provide health-minded individuals with an alternative to the over-crowded and underserviced “box” gyms that have saturated our communities. Over the course of my career as a professional athlete, fitness and strength coach, and mentor I have been afforded the opportunity to apply my knowledge and skills in multiple facets and to help thousands of people. I continue to develop and teach those skills on a daily basis and share them with my clients and the community.
