Bob Beuret
With decades of experience managing financial institutions, Bob Beuret formerly served at the Fort Lauderdale branch of full-service investment company Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. As Limited Partner and Regional Vice President there, Bob Beuret contributed to the establishment of various retail brokerage offices and the acquisition of a company in the hospitality industry.
This work was followed by a tenure at investment bank Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in New York, where Bob Beuret functioned as Senior Vice President, overseeing both local and overseas offices of the organization. Through the years, Bob Beuret also operated as CEO, head of investment banking, or founder at First Albany; A.G. Edwards, Inc.; and brokerage firms started or acquired by Bob Beuret.
In the past, Bob Beuret ventured into business as well, with endeavors such as The Art Deco Hotels (ADH) and Compex Inc. The Art Deco Hotels, which are located in Miami Beach, Florida, initiated what is now known as South Beach, while Compex Inc., an electronics company, was responsible for producing the first insurance-based tax shelter.
During the 1960s, Bob Beuret attended Cornell University and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, receiving his Master of Business Administration from the latter. When he is not busy monitoring and advising several small and startup companies. Bob Beuret likes to play and watch sports such as tennis and football.
