Entrepreneur and entertainment industry leader Bobby Kotick has served for 25 years as the CEO of Activision Blizzard, Inc., the Santa Monica, California-based publisher of hit franchises such as World of Warcraft, Candy Crush and Call of Duty.
In addition to his work with Activision Blizzard, Kotick heads the Call of Duty Endowment as the nonprofit organization’s founder and co-chairman. Together with General James Jones, co-chairman, and Call of Duty Endowment executive director Dan Goldenberg, Kotick leads the organization in working towards its mission to help veterans secure civilian careers upon the completion of their military service. The Endowment fulfills this goal by awarding grants and scholarships to educational institutions as well as veterans’ organizations.
Kotick is involved in several other community organizations as well, including the Center for Early Education, an independent school that emphasizes lifelong learning. As a member of the Board of Trustees of the Center for Early Education, he supports the nonprofit’s goal of providing an excellent learning experience for the Center’s more than 500 students.
