Bobby Genovese is a successful Canadian businessman and entrepreneur.
Bobby Genovese founded his first company, Continental Gold, at age 25 in his native Ontario before establishing the Investor Relations Group (IRG) in Vancouver, British Columbia — a multi-national business and asset consolidator, which focused on small to midsize capital growth opportunities.
Foreseeing greater opportunity, he sold his interest in IRG in 1995 and founded BG Capital Group Limited and BG Capital Management Corporation, both based in Barbados with associate management offices in the Bahamas, Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton, Florida, Los Angeles, Toronto and Vancouver.
Genovese’s knack for identifying opportunities grew into a portfolio of businesses focused on mergers/acquisitions of small to medium businesses across all verticals.
In 2013, his love for adventure and preservation of natural resources grew into the creation of BG Signature, a global portfolio of extraordinary destinations and experiences. The private access VIP collection spans the spectrum of events in sports, fashion, culture and more.
Adding to his portfolio of BG Signature luxury travel offerings, Genovese offers a fleet of yachts, division which expanded in 2015 with the acquisition and launch of M/Y BG CHARADE, a classic 154-foot Feadship, following a complete refit. The new fully customized motor yacht boasts a modern, stylish interior with three spacious staterooms accommodating 12 guests.
Based in Miami Beach, Florida M/Y BGCHARADE joins an expanding suite of mega yachts in the BG charter collection that now includes M/Y BG Jr., a state-of-the-art 78-ft Lazzara LSX and M/Y BG3, a 2009 74-Sunseeker Predator, also based in Miami Beach.
A seasoned equestrian, Genovese broughthis business experience to polo, which led to the creation of multiple polo and equestrian clubs, including his flagship BG Polo & Equestrian Resort in Ocala, Florida.
Genovese is also passionate about land conservation, and has partnered with the Department of Environmental Protection as official concessionaires of several Florida state parks which include: Silver Springs State Park, Oleta River State Park, Hugh Taylor Birch State Park and Dr. Von D. Mizell-Eula Johnson State Park.
With both the desire and a responsibility to give back, Bobby Genovese spends his time working with and serving children at Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children, among other organizations.
