Well-versed in a variety of fields, Bobby has worked in professional organizations based in New York City, Thailand, New Jersey as well as in Shanghai, China. Focusing extensively on Chinese Studies and Political Science (International Relations) research and activities at Rutgers University, he worked closely with staff at the Eagleton Institute of Politics fostering youth engagement and voter registration programs in nearby high schools as well as various programs and events around the Rutgers University community. In 2010 he had the opportunity to help represent the United States at the 2010 Shanghai World Expo (World Fair). Working in conjunction with the US State Department, he worked in the VIP and Entertainment departments with international diplomats and various celebrities, running engagement programs as well as assisting and hosting entertainers, events and volunteer initiatives around the city and Central China. Upon graduation, Bobby moved to New York City to pursue a post-graduation professional career. In 2014 he moved to a learning and development firm called the Mind Gym where he served as a Project Manager, working on very large scale, complex, international programs for over two years.

Robert completed his Master's of Intl. Development Studies in July 2017 at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. His thesis dissertation was based in Dhaka, Bangladesh and explored the nexus between environmental (climate) migration, justice and slum settlements and networks in the urban community.
