BOB CARSWELL

One of Canada's 22,000 warbabies, I arrived in Montreal to meet my father in March 1945. For whatever reason, my life has been full of many different things all of which have excited me at one point or another. I am well education with four degrees, two in business, one in flim and one in education. I am also a survivor of sorts having already outlived many friends. I spent my career in sales and marketing and in later years turned to art and writing. An ebook author of a dozen books, an accomplished painter, I am also an individual who has learned about genealogy from the grass roots with some 40 years of experience. For the past dozen years my fascination with WWII has taken me down many unique paths and as a result I have become an experienced military researcher. There are few subjects I don't know something about and topping them all is an understanding of what makes people tick. We are prisoners of our sex. We are not designed to understand the opposite sex but we are expected to get along with them. That is a journey that all people go on, some better than others. In this blog I would like to discuss anything that is of interest at that point in time. Being an individual of many words, I won't be lost for them. Now in my later years, I have the knowledge and experience to have a view on most things. At the same time, I hang my pants in a small apartment backing on to Lake Ontario. I call the place simply 'MY PANTHOUSE BY THE LAKE."
