I enjoy trying stupid things. Sometimes they work and other times they don't. The problem is you never know which way it will go until you've tried.
Words are extremely powerful things. When motivating someone to join you, choose the wrong word you are suddenly farther from the objective. Offer a plan and people are inclined to say yes. It's the plan, it will happen and you can be part of it or get left behind. Offer a proposal and you have invited the dreaded no monster.
Words matter and talk is cheap. Words only get you so far. What really matters in the long term is action. Shipping on time and what you promised. Deliver on time and your words become more powerful. Fail to deliver and your words become worthless.
I am an aspiring rails developer with a couple fo cool projects in the works and the COO of MainStreetChamber.
