Bob Klein is the founder of Medici Capital. Previously he was a Managing Director and Financial Advisor at J.P. Morgan Securities. Currently, Mr. Klein is based out of Newport Beach, California.

Before jumping into his career, Bob Klein graduated from Davidson College with a B.A. degree in Economics. Throughout his collegiate career, Mr. Klein was fascinated with the nature of money. In his last year at Davidson College, Bob Klein wrote his thesis on the nature and causes of the business cycles.

One of the reasons why Mr. Klein ventured out to California was to study economics with George Reisman, who was teaching in the MBA Program at Pepperdine University. Reisman earned his doctorate under Ludwig von Mises, the leader of the Austrian School of Economics. Klein and Reisman have collaborated on articles explaining the business cycle and applying the principles to current markets.

While working at J.P. Morgan Securities, Bob Klein worked with many clients ranging from business professionals to entrepreneurs. During every consultation, Bob provided financial guidance as well as strategic and innovative investment opportunities. In addition to his duties as Managing Director and Financial Advisor, Bob was a member of J.P. Morgan Securities’ Portfolio Manager Program. As a member of this program, Bob helped managed client portfolios that went under a quantitative and qualitative review.

In his free time, you can find Bob Klein pursuing another one of his passions, baseball. Not only is Bob a fan of the game but the values and lessons that sports can teach.

After his son showed interest in baseball, Bob founded the Sun Devils, a youth baseball team. Soon after the formation of the team, Bob helped to create Sun Devil Field, a state-of-the-art ballpark located in Costa Mesa.
