I was 3 years old when I first said I wanted to be a doctor. After working as a General Practitioner for 13 years, I wanted the time and the freedom to be able to know patients more fully, to understand them more completely, and to stimulate and support their healing and wellbeing. I left General Practice to work at the Centre for Integrative Care Glasgow Homeopathic Hospital where I used a patient-centred, holistic, integrative approach. I loved every day I spent with patients. I retired in 2014 and now live in France where I'm focusing on my writing and photography.
