I've taken an intriguing path to the world of public relations and come to the profession with a variety of experiences that influence the care and precision I offer clients.

I earned a B.A. in English and Philosophy while discerning the Catholic priesthood in a seminary for more than two years. Additionally, I published a weekly religious newsletter and produced a radio segment for a Gospel radio station in Milwaukee, my hometown.

When I met my now-wife, I pivoted from preparing for the pulpit to studying media. I was accepted into the Medill School of Journalism's Graduate Program at Northwestern University where I honed reporting and writing skills while freelancing for local papers and websites, as well as for national publications -- including The Miami Herald, Military Times and Defense News. A six-month stint in Washington D.C. opened my eyes to the wide world of political reporting and communications. I worked as a digital journalist on a national security reporting initiative alongside Washington Post web producers and fellow Medill alum before returning to the Second City to start a career.

In Chicago, I've worked as a researcher and writer for a hospital trade publication, and joined the All Points Public Relations team full-time in August 2012 after having spent eight months as a freelancer for the company. I jump headfirst into the PR world, embracing the experience with a team of dedicated professionals at All Points who realize the conversation always begins with a compelling storyline.

In my free time, I write songs and run marathons. I'm also a happy newlywed.
