Bob Terrance Saunders is an up and coming successful assistant general manager in the hospitality industry. His motivation is to one day be a General Manager, and open and manage his own hotel. He has six years in the hotel industry as the Assistant General Manager of The Dunmore Hotel on Harbour Island, Bahamas.

Bob Terance Saunders earned a Career Certificate in Hotel and Restaurant Management at Penn Foster Career School. While Saunders was at Penn Foster, he also enrolled in the Hotel Management program at Gordon University in Florida. He earned his Bachelors Degree in 2005. He received educational support from Wallace Tutt, of the famous Rock House Hotel and Restaurant of Harbour Island.

Mr. Bob Terrance Saunders is continuing his education with Penn Foster Career School by working towards his second Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management.

Mr. Saunders assists in the day-to-day operations at The Dunmore hotel. These duties include pool area setup, beach operations, beach equipment inventory and recording, and front desk operations. Bob Terrance Saunders also oversees reservation booking accommodations and Check-in and checkout guest operations.

In addition, Saunders serves as Night Manager and is also the Maître d of the Ortanique Under the Sun restaurant of The Dunmore. The Ortanique is operated by renowned four star executive Master chef Cindy Hudson and Delius Shirley. Mr. Saunders handles all cash and credit card transaction for the entire Food & Beverage department. He also conducts the night audit using the Room Master and POS Systems.

He strives to make the work force a productive environment and a pleasant place to stay for his guests. He understands the cultures of his guests, and possesses a solid knowledge of the hospitality industry. He’s passionate about his work and energetic about motivating others.
