I'm a teacher and I'm a learner (or it might actually be the other way around). I don't know when learning about learning became my passion but that's where I'm at. I'm always thinking about how to push the boundaries about what's possible in education. How do we innovate? How do we improve? Currently, I'm learning more about:

• school architecture and learning space design
• learning beliefs, motivation, & pedagogical innovation
• psychological barriers to teacher adoption of technology
• using & creating visuals, visualizations & infographics
• the importance of creativity

I live in Virginia with my beautiful wife and two daughters.
