Jay Mishell
Well, hello. I guess this is what you're really going to want to know about me. I'm a senior neuroscience student at Harvard University. I am obsessed with optimizing health, nutrition, metabolism, and body composition. I think that the best (in fact the only) way to achieve the best measures in these realms is by looking at the science of the human body. We have to face the following realty: the Standard American Diet has failed us. SAD but true, one might say. These dietary guidelines are simply not created based on anything resembling science.
If we want to know how to reverse the obesity and diabetes epedemic plaguing this planet, we have to look at the hard facts. Low-fat dieting does not work for cardiovascular health, longevity, nor long-term weight loss. Caloric restriction does not work for long-term cardiovascular health, longevity, nor long-term weight loss. Luckily, we actually do know what works. We have achieved this knowledge through something called science.
I'm here to share that wealth of information with you. Welcome to my blog.
