Jovan Bogosavljević is a Serbian violinist and composer born in Belgrade in 1980. He started studying the violin with his father, Dragutin Bogosavljević (student of the famous pedagogues and violinists David Oistrah and Boris Kuznetsov). This period of schooling crowned him as the absolute winner of the competition in Tortona in the category under 30 years of age. He completed his basic master's studies at the FMU in Belgrade in the class of Tatijana Olujić. In 2002/03, he obtained his master's degree at the Royal Conservatory in Brussels in the class of Igor Oistrakh, one of the greatest violinists of today. During his stay in Brussels, he was the concertmaster of the student orchestra as well as the concertmaster of the contemporary music orchestra. After graduating from the Royal Conservatory, Jovan Bogosavljević trained with: Mikhail Kopelman, Pierre Amoyal, Kim Nam-Yoon, Boris Kušnir and Maxim Wengerov... As a soloist with chamber and symphony orchestras, he performed in: Serbia, all former Republics, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Italy, Spain, Turkey, England, Belgium, Greece, Bulgaria, Germany, Finland, Sweden, Denmark, USA, China, Argentina, Japan, the United Emirates... As a soloist, he also performed at important festivals: Ars Muzika-Brussels, Art Fest-London, Warsaw Festival-Poland, Stuttgart Festival-Germany, Copenhagen Festival-Denmark, International Festival-Berlin, Bemus-Belgrade, Novi Sad Music Festival Summer, Nimus-Niš, Kotor Art-Montenegro, Ohrid Summer, Skopje Summer... As a soloist he collaborated with many conductors: Mladen Jagušt, Uroš Lajovic, Dorijan Wilson, Andrej Andrejev, Milena Injac, Biljana Radovanovic, Jovan Šainović, Bojan Sudjić, Berislav Skenderović, Saša Nikolovski Đumar, Anatolij Novicki, Bart Bukart, Stanko Šepić, Vesna Shouc, Svilen Simeonov, Fan Tao, Igor Budenstein, Bernard Steiner , Igor Tatarević, Đurđica Dašić, Christo Pavlov, Ivan Stojanov, Mark Kadin... As a soloist he performed with many orchestras from Belgrade Philharmonic to Beijing National Orchestra. He also collaborated with a large number of pianists: Ishil Bengi, Chui Lan, Jelena Jermakova, Isak Sekelji, Dragana Petković, Biljana Gorunović, Olivera Đurđević, Natalija Mladenović, Dejan Sinadinović, Aleksandar Serdar, Ludmil Angelov... He also performed in duets with other instrumentalists: Dragutin Bogosavljević, Ljubiša Jovanović, Sanel Redžić, Maroje Brčić, Carlos Buono, Marija Rajković, Panta Velićković, Dragan Đorđević, Nemanja Radulović, Jan Luk Votano, Alan Bulgerijan, Roman Patkolo, Dejan Gavrić, Margarita Kalčeva... For many years he performed around the world as a guest soloist with the quartet from Munich, Basion Amorosa, who won the European Quartet award. , and Echo Classic. He is one of the founders of the "International Collegium of Artists Stad", within which he led the chamber orchestra "Hybridi" and the quintet for the performance of Astor Piazzolla's music "Solisti di Sud". Jovan Bogosavljević is considered one of the best violinists in the world for performing the music of Astor Piazzolla and is a finalist in the 2021 Piazzolla Music Competition in the soloist category. As a soloist and chamber musician, Jovan made several permanent recordings and CDs for PGP RTS, Contact Line, performed over 1,000 concerts and as one of the leading artists in Serbia received numerous awards and criticism: "Artist of the Year" in 2006 by "Performer of the Year" by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Serbia, 2012. Classic Music... In recent years, in addition to solo performance, he has been dedicated to composition and after "Capris" for solo violin, in the last two years, Diptych, a concerto for two violins and strings, was performed in almost all important music centers of the country and its surroundings. In 2023, his work "Argentine Fantasy", also for two violins and strings, was premiered at the "Ohrid Summer" with exceptional reviews. From 2021, he also performs as a guest conductor at the invitation of the Symphony Orchestra from Mostar. He is the artistic director of Ikus Studio Orchestra, which specializes in recording musical materials in one of the best studios for recording orchestral music in the environment of MyRoom Acoustic Studio. Jovan Bogosavljević is a regular professor at the Faculty of Arts in Niš.
